Oakland Library hosts Writer’s Workshop in Leesburg
LEESBURG, Ga. – Got a story to tell, or just want to try your hand at writing? The Lee County Library is offering a Writer’s Workshop this Saturday, November 8, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Oakland Library at 445 Oakland Parkway in Leesburg.
The 90-minute session, led by writer and journalist Adalei Stevens, is open to adults 18 and older. Participants of all experience levels are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned writer or just starting out. The workshop focuses on creative exercises designed to get your imagination flowing, so bring your favorite writing tools, whether it’s a pen and notebook, a laptop, or even a scroll! Pens, pencils, and paper will also be available. It’s a great opportunity to flex your writing muscles, meet fellow creatives, and spend a fun, inspiring afternoon crafting your next story.
The workshop is free, but registration is required. Space is limited, so sign up by calling the Oakland Library at 229-889-0300, or register at any Lee County Library location.
