Nashville man arrested in Adel after running from police

ADEL, Ga. – On Wednesday at around 1:25 p.m., the Adel Police Department and the Cook County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at the Liberty Store in Adel regarding suspicious activity involving a gray Dodge Challenger.

Jabari Jackson from Nashville ran from officers after he was seen leaving the vehicle.

After a search, Jackson was arrested in Bear Creek close to Bearside Drive without incident.

Jackson was sent to the Cook County Jail where he was charged with three counts of obstruction of an officer, and one count of receiving stolen property.

The Challenger is reported stolen from Tifton, and the Tift County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating.
