Moultrie firefighters walk over 2,000 steps at Mack Tharpe Stadium in honor of 9/11

MOULTRIE, Ga. – Moultrie firefighters walked over 2,000 steps at Mack Tharpe Stadium in honor of the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

“Today, members of the Moultrie Fire Department walked 2,200 steps at Mack Tharpe Stadium in honor of the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Each step the MFD took was a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and resilience shown by the first responders, civilians, and heroes of that day. We will never forget.”
