Mother of 4 dies in home invasion shooting, 21-year-old suspect in custody

ALBANY, Ga. – After receiving a call, on Wednesday officers found 33-year-old Chelsea Milledge with a gunshot wound inside an Albany home at the 900 block of Holloway Avenue.

She was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, but later died today from her injuries.

Officers arrested 21-year-old Eugene Barber, and charged him with murder, possession of a firearm, and home invasion.

None of the children inside the home were injured during the shooting.
