Mitchell Co. auto break-ins, law enforcement searching for responsible suspects
BACONTON, Ga. – Mitchell County Police are warning residents to lock their vehicles after multiple auto break-in incidents.
In a Facebook post from the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement explains that suspects have been entering unlocked vehicles in the areas of Jackson Street, Church Street, and Phylis Circle. Residents are reminded to secure all valuables and ensure doors are locked.
Investigators are diligently working to find the suspects responsible for the break-ins and ask the community to contact their office at 229-336-2030 with any information.
