Missing runaway 12-year-old boy located safely and returned home

ALBANY, Ga. – UPDATE: Jordan Lavant has been located safely and has returned home.

The Albany Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Jordan Lavant, who has been reported as a runaway.

Last seen: September 8, 2025, around 3:00 PM

Location: 1400 block of Owens Ave.

Known to frequent: Mt. Zion Apartments
