MetroPower Foundation awards $15,000 grant to the Albany Museum of Art
The grant will be used to support free admission, exhibitions, and art-inspired programs
ALBANY, Ga. –[For Release February 5, 2026 – Albany, GA] ─ The Albany Museum of Art is pleased to announce that it has received a $15,000 grant from the PPC Foundation. MetroPower, Inc., Vice President Duane Howell presented the grant to Executive Director Andrew James Wulf, Ph.D., on Tuesday, Feb 3.
“We are honored that MetroPower and the PPC Foundation have chosen the Albany Museum of Art as the recipient of this grant, which shows the company’s deep-seated commitment to supporting the communities it serves in real and meaningful ways,” Wulf said. “These funds will help empower us in our mission to bring art to Albany and Southwest Georgia through free admission, outstanding art exhibitions, and a strong schedule of art-inspired programming for all ages.
“We thank MetroPower, which has long been a champion of the AMA through grants and sponsorships, for this generous support.”

MetroPower is one of five companies owned by PPC Partners, which operates the foundation to invest in the betterment of the communities it serves. Through the PPC Foundation, the company distributes 10% of its pre-tax profits to nonprofit organizations recommended by its employees in the communities it serves.
