Man kills ex in murder-suicide on East 4th Ave, APD investigating
ALBANY, Ga. – This morning, Albany officers responded to a shooting on East 4th Avenue.
The victims, identified as Lasonya Dawson and her ex-boyfriend, Jamarkus Stringer, were both found with gunshot wounds. Dawson was found dead at the scene, and Stringer later died at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The incident is still under investigation.
