Man charged with murder after fatal shooting of girlfriend

ALBANY, Ga. – Around 12:11 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a shooting in the 2200 block of Champagne Lane. They found 19-year-old Eboni Nicole Hood deceased from a gunshot wound to the face.

21-year-old J’Shon Davyen Price was taken into custody at the scene.

Price claimed the shooting was accidental, but after investigation, he was charged with murder, possession of a firearm during a crime, and aggravated assault.

He was transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
