Local business leaders invest in community through $5,000 donation to Moultrie Police Department Foundation

MOULTRIE, GA — The Moultrie Police Department Foundation is proud to announce a generous $5,000 donation from local business leaders Suken Patel and his business partner, Ramesh Patel. Their contribution reflects a continued commitment to public safety and the well-being of the Moultrie community.

The Patels, long recognized as civic-minded leaders with strong ties to the local area, elected to direct their state tax liability to remain local by partnering with the Moultrie Police Department Foundation. Through Georgia’s dollar-for-dollar tax credit program, their donation ensures that tax dollars are reinvested directly into the community they serve.

“We are extremely grateful for the support of Suken Patel and Ramesh Patel,” said Chief Chad Castleberry. “Their decision to keep their tax dollars local has a direct and meaningful impact on our officers and the citizens of Moultrie.”

Funds donated to the Moultrie Police Department Foundation are used to support law enforcement initiatives, officer wellness, training, equipment, and community-focused programs that enhance public safety and strengthen relationships between officers and residents.

The Foundation encourages other individuals and businesses to explore how they too can take advantage of the tax credit program while making a lasting investment in the local community.
