Leroy Rogers Senior Center in Tifton to host AARP Smart Driver Refresher Course on January 30
TIFTON, Ga. – If you are looking to refresh your driving skills and possibly save on your car insurance, the City of Tifton has an opportunity coming up next week you will not want to miss.
On Friday, January 30, the Leroy Rogers Senior Center will host an AARP Smart Driver Refresher Course from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The class will take place at the senior center, located at 315 West Second Street.
This classroom course is designed to help drivers stay up to date on the rules of the road while building confidence behind the wheel. Topics include safer driving techniques, navigating roundabouts, understanding right-of-way, and strategies to handle common driving challenges.
The course is open to both AARP members and non-members. The cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members, payable at the door. Participants should bring their AARP card if applicable.
