Lee Co. Sheriff’s Office searching for wanted man

LEESBURG, Ga. – At around 7:07 pm on December 24th, 2023, authorities responded to a disturbance reported in the 1800 block of Philema Road South.

The incident involved Christopher Shaw, who was accused of simple battery but had already departed the location by the time deputies arrived.

Further investigation revealed that Shaw was also wanted on existing arrest warrants issued by Dougherty county, related to charges of battery and cruelty to children in the third degree.

Anyone who may know of Shaw’s whereabouts is urged to contact either the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 229-759-6012 or the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office at 229-302-3600 regarding these outstanding arrest warrants.
