Juneteenth of Thomasville-Thomas County Foundation hosts annual Freedom Day Festival Saturday

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – On Saturday, the Juneteenth of Thomasville-Thomas County Foundation is hosting its annual Freedom Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The day-long event celebrates culture and community with live entertainment, including a gospel fest featuring local and regional talent.

Guests can also experience African American heritage firsthand by visiting the festival’s live Black History Museum.

Those on a job hunt are encouraged to stop by the career fair, which will offer on-the-spot interviews, job leads, and connections to local employers. And, of course, you can support black-owned businesses at the festival’s vendor market.

The festival takes place at the Thomasville Exchange Club Fairgrounds on Georgia Highway 122.
