Jack’s Family Restaurant opens its doors in Albany

ALBANY, Ga. – Jack’s Family Restaurant opens its doors in Albany, bringing a welcoming atmosphere along with the delectable array of dishes.

Jack’s Family Restaurant celebrates its grand opening in Albany, with a crowds forming as early as 5 am, eager to savor the food Jack’s had to offer.

Adding an extra layer of excitement, the first 50 customers placing on-site orders will enjoy a special treat – free Jack’s breakfast for an entire year.

“This is actually our 250th restaurant that we’ve opened for Jack’s. Been around since 1960, and breakfast is a staple, and we would like to reward the first 50 customers with free breakfast for a year. Actually, it’s 52 coupons, one week for a year. And, that’s just our way of saying, thank you. We’re open, we want to give back. And, that’s what we do,” said Taylor Kitchens, Regional Director & Director of Operations, Jack’s Family Restaurant.

Taylor Kitchens, the Regional Director and Director of Operations for Jack’s Family Restaurant, sheds light on the inspiration behind selecting Albany as the location for the latest addition to the Jack’s family.

“Look at the growth here. Albany State’s here, is a good college town, especially on homecoming weekends, it has been fantastic, and we’ve kind of slowly come to Albany, right? So, we opened in Douglas in September, Dawson in October, Camilla in October. And, now, here we are at the first of the year. Our first restaurant opened this year, actually in Albany. But, Albany, is kind of unique as a travel through town. You know, if you’re going from, say, southeast Georgia or from southeast Alabama through to the beach, this is kind of a route for a lot of people that we found. We’ve had actually, record breaking sales in Camilla, and we expect the same thing here in Albany,” said Kitchens.

Jack’s commitment to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere underscores their dedication to not just serving delicious dishes, but fostering a community-centered dining experience.

“Service is what it’s all about. We are in the people business. We sell hamburgers, fried chicken, gravy, biscuits. But, it’s the way you treat people that makes people come back, right? One of our values is no jerks allowed. We try to absolutely put an emphasis on the way we treat people, not only our customers, but our employees and managers as well throughout the whole company. And, it flows through to life, right? It’s not just for when you’re at work,” said Kitchens.
