IV therapy for better health at Thirstology Infusions and Wellness Lounge in Tifton

TIFTON, Ga. – Almost everyone’s goal in life is to be healthy, but what if I told you that one business in Tifton is offering health and wellness through an IV shot.

“Towards the end of the pandemic people wanted to live a healthier life, so I thought this is good for preventive medicine to get our bodies in the best shape possible,” said Robin Stanley, Co-owner of Thirstology.

But, how exactly does this process work?

“We’ll asses them and make sure their vital signs are okay, and then they’ll go over there medical history and if they are a candidate for the shot or infusion we’ll give it to them,” said Gerlana Vargas, Co-owner of Thirstology.

During this summer heat wave many of us are sweating out the nutrients are body needs.

“Whenever you sweat you lose a lot of the essential nutrients your body needs and so whenever you come in here we can give you those nutrients back,” said Vargas.

Thirstology offers multiple nutrient injections that help different deficiencies in the human body.

“Vitamin B 12, Magnesium, they work in a lot different ways, they give you energy, Magnesium has been shown to help with depression,” said Stanley.

With Thirstology, Tifton residents have the possibility to get what their body needs in much more time efficient way.

“People get surgery all the time and then we live in this small town and no one wants to sit and wait a long time for fluids and vitamin well you can just come here and get it,” said Stanley.

Thirstology will have its grand reopening on August 25th at 12:30 pm.
