Investigators identify body found in Cuthbert death investigation

CUTHBERT, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was requested to assist in a death investigation in Cuthbert on Tuesday, December 30th.

On Wednesday, December 31st, investigators identified the body discovered as 17-year-old male Jamirious Ramsey.

Ramsey was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound near Howell Mill Road.

Ramsey’ body will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
