Independence Day Celebration Road Closures
On Tuesday, July 4, the City of Albany will host its annual Independence Day Celebration at the Veterans Park Amphitheater located at 100 W. Oglethorpe Boulevard, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. In preparation for the event, the City will close off several roads in the downtown area.
ALBANY, Ga. – On Tuesday, July 4, the City of Albany will host its annual Independence Day Celebration at the Veterans Park Amphitheater located at 100 W. Oglethorpe Boulevard, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
In preparation for the event, the City will close off several roads in the downtown area.
Monday, July 3, 2023, at 7 p.m.
• The Broad Avenue Bridge from North Front Street to College Drive, and
• South Front Street from East Oglethorpe Boulevard to West Whitney Avenue.
Tuesday, July 4, 2023, noon
• West Broad Avenue at Washington Street, continuing to North Broadway Street
and North Front Street beyond the roundabout and stopping at the RiverFront
Resource Center.
• College Drive and Old Radium Springs Road.
