IMPORTANT NOTICE: Dougherty County Delay in Mailing of 2025 Tax Bills

Dear Taxpayers,

Please be advised that the mailing of 2025 tax bills has been delayed due to new Georgia State legislative changes for the 2025 tax year. This resulted in unforeseen processing issues/system update.

We anticipate that all tax bills will be mailed by December 20, 2025. And we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What this means for you:

  • No Penalties: To ensure fairness, no late fees or penalties will be assessed on payments affected by this mailing delay, provided payment is made by the revised due date of February 20, 2025.
  • Access Your Bill Online: You do not have to wait for the mailed copy. You can view, print, or pay your tax bill online using www.dougherty.pay.com and searching by your parcel number, name, or property address.
  • Payment Methods: Online payments are encouraged for immediate processing.
