More than 2,300 Afghan evacuees have arrived in Philadelphia

“I view us as Ellis Island. The Afghans, they come through port of entry, they process, and then they move,” said Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney. To date, more than 2,300 evacuees have arrived.
