Tift County Cross Country Hosts the Run for Love 5K Saturday
TIFTON, Ga. – Now in its 37th year, the Run For Love 5K and One Mile Fun Run is a cherished community tradition in Tifton hosted by Tift County Cross Country Teams. More than just a race, this annual event brings together runners, families, and supporters to celebrate health, unity, and the Blue Devil school spirit.
Proceeds from the Run For Love directly support the Tift County Cross Country team. Funds raised help provide essential items and experiences for student-athletes, including team dinners, custom shirts, race prizes, gear, letterman jackets, and special gifts for seniors and 8th grade athletes. Participation and support not only fuel our team’s success, but also build lasting memories for every runner involved.
The Run For Love 5K takes place Saturday at ABAC’s Red Hill Athletic Complex, Perimeter Drive in Tifton. Race Day Check-in takes place from 7:00 – 7:45 a.m. The 5K Run is at 8:00 a.m. and the One Mile Fun Run is at 9:00 a.m. Anyone interested in participating in either race can register here.
