HEALTH MINUTE: WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT EBOLA
An international effort continues today to contain an Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. To date, the CDC says no cases of the disease have been confirmed in the U.S. because of this outbreak, and the agency says the overall risk to the American public and travelers remains low. In addition to being a shorter flight time, authorities say Germany has previous experience caring for Ebola patients. In today’s Health Minute, Mandy Gaither has more on what to know about the disease.
