South Georgia Motorsports Park Makes History

ADEL, Ga. – The National Hot Rod Association races into Adel to celebrate its 75th anniversary season.

The Southern Nationals cranks up at South Georgia Motorsports Park May 1st through the 3rd, and spectators can expect to witness speeds over 340 miles per hour when the world’s fastest cars hit the track.

This will be the NHRA debut at the track as part of its 75th anniversary celebration. Along with top fuel, funny car, pro stock, and pro stock motorcycles, NHRA legends “Big Daddy” Don Garlitz and Darryl Gwynn will be there.

On Friday, a free special edition NHRA pennant will be given away to the first 3500 fans in attendance. Every ticket is a pit pass, plus kids 12 and under get in free! Tickets are available at NHRA.com.
