FDA Advisers Endorse Pfizer Booster Shots For Elderly And High-Risk Americans

An FDA advisory panel has overwhelmingly rejected emergency use authorization for a third dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for people ages 16-64, but has approved the booster shots for people 65 and older or at high risk.
