Excitement is building as the FIFA World Cup is set to kick off in less than a month. Fans looking to attend can expect an expensive outing and not just due to the price of tickets to the games, which can cost thousands of dollars. Transportation to and from the game can cost as much as $100 a person for some games in the Northeast. Despite an expected influx of attendees, the American Hotel & Lodging Association has found that 80% of hotels they surveyed are not seeing the demand FIFA officials expected.
