Army Sgt. speaks to CNN after wife is deported by Trump admin: ‘We did everything the right way’

An active-duty servicemember is speaking out after his wife was deported to Honduras. Sgt. Headar Turcios’s wife, Cristy Villafranca, was detained last month in El Paso, Texas, as she was driving home from Walmart with her husband and their daughter. Turcios, who recently completed a nine-month deployment to the Middle East, told Erin Burnett that despite witnessing his wife’s arrest, his commitment to the U.S. military remains unchanged. “I love what I do, and I want to keep doing it,” he said.
