2 out-of-state disbarred attorneys sue Texas doctor over abortion

The first lawsuits under Texas Senate Bill 8, known as the heartbeat bill, have been filed. The lawsuits are both against Dr. Alan Braid, a San Antonio doctor who admits he performed an abortion past six weeks, which is illegal under the new law. ABC13’s Courtney Carpenter spoke with one of the men who filed the lawsuit against Braid.
