Grand opening of Coast to Coast Tattoo Parlor
Flowers says perseverance is what made the dream possible today.
ALBANY, Ga. – Getting the ribbon cut here at Coast to Coast Tattoo Parlor was no easy task for store owner Travis Flowers. He says perseverance is what made the dream possible today.
“I’ve worked in several other shops, just now being able to do my own thing, and I think it’s going to be a great thing for east Albany,” said Travis Flowers, store owner.
With success came struggle as Flowers’ had to pass multiple inspections.
“Not really understanding what they’re looking for, they come in and do one inspection and say this needs to be done. They come back and do another inspection now this needs to be done,” said Flowers.
But, then, Flowers remembers the reason that he started tattooing in the first place…
“Just to see somebody’s face light up and be so appreciative of it. You know you’ve made a stamp on that person’s heart,” said Flowers.
Flowers tells me success is a team effort at Coast to Coast.
“I’m not going to even say I’m successful right now. I’m successful opening up the shop but we’re also going to be successful by trying to push out the best art here that we have,” said Flowers.
Remember, the road to success is about the journey not the destination.
