Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia launches inaugural “Cookies & Corks” fundraiser at Doublegate Country Club this Saturday
ALBANY, Ga. – The Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia are introducing a brand-new fundraising event to Albany with the inaugural “Cookies & Corks” this Friday, September 19th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Doublegate Country Club at 3800 Old Dawson Road.
Guests can look forward to an evening of wine tasting, heavy hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes, and live entertainment. One of the highlights will be the Cork Wine Pull Raffle, giving participants the chance to walk away with a special bottle of wine.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Albany Girl Scout DreamLab, a state-of-the-art creative space designed to inspire girls through STEM, podcasting, leadership programs, and hands-on learning opportunities that build confidence and encourage them to dream big.
Community members and businesses also have the opportunity to support the cause through event sponsorships. For more information, contact Community Engagement Manager Sophie Jones at scjones@gshg.org.
