Georgia Southwestern State University to hold its fourth annual Gold Force Gala honoring distinguished alumni and supporting student scholarships
AMERICUS, Ga. – Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) is set to host one of its most elegant events of the year this Saturday, January 31 the fourth annual Gold Force Gala. This black-tie fundraiser celebrates excellence and supports student scholarships while honoring the university’s distinguished alumni with the 2026 Outstanding Alumni Awards. The event will take place at the newly constructed Griffin Bell Conference Center in Americus.
The evening will begin with a cocktail social and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards ceremony at 7 p.m. While this year’s gala is already full, university leaders emphasize that the Gold Force Gala is an annual tradition, offering alumni and community members plenty of ways to stay involved throughout the year.
