Georgia Academy for Economic Development, Georgia Tech, Southern Georgia Regional Commission to host “AI for Local Officials” one-day workshop
VALDOSTA, Ga. – Local leaders in Valdosta are getting a chance to explore the future of technology. Next Tuesday, August 19th, the Southern Georgia Regional Commission will host a one-day workshop called “AI 101 for Local Officials”.
It runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is designed to give city and county officials a crash course on artificial intelligence (AI), how it’s already reshaping industries like education, manufacturing, and transportation. The event is part of the Georgia Artificial Intelligence for Manufacturing (Georgia AIM) project, a statewide initiative led by Georgia Tech and funded by a federal “Build Back Better” award.
