GDOT: Worth Co. SR 133 traffic shift scheduled next week
WORTH Co., Ga. – What: The contractor widening/reconstructing State Route 133 from north of the Colquitt County line to north of SR 112 in Worth County plans to shift traffic next week. Traffic will move to newly-constructed northbound lanes, with one lane in each direction. Once traffic has moved, the contractor will begin removing the old lanes in order to build new roads. The shift will require traffic to use the roundabout that is still under construction at the intersection of SR 133 and SR 112. Temporary road markings and signs will direct motorists so please slow down and pay close attention as you approach the roundabout.
Where: SR 133 from north of the Colquitt County line to north of SR 112 in Worth County.
When: Traffic is scheduled to shift Wednesday, Oct. 15, dependent upon weather and contractor progress.
