GDOT: SR 133 traffic shift in Dougherty county

DOUGHERTY Co., Ga. – Dougherty Co: on Sat. we told you about SR 133 traffic moving to a new alignment this week (see the Jan. 24 post in the feed below).

Due to that traffic shift motorists won’t be able to access Spring Flats Road from SR 133.

Starting Tuesday, Jan. 27, there will be a detour staged starting at South County Line Road.

Detour signs and message boards will be present to show drivers how to access Spring Flats Road and we’ve posted the detour map here. It is estimated that the detour will be in place until the beginning of April.

And yes, the Spring Flats Road detour starts the day before the planned SR 133 shift.
