GBI requested by Bainbridge Public Safety to assist in death investigation
BAINBRIDGE, Ga. – At around 9:35 this morning, Bainbridge Public Safety requested assistance, from the GBI for the investigation into the death of 35-year-old Markeith Miller, whose body was discovered behind a residence in the 200 block of Simms Street in Bainbridge.
Miller resided in the 100 block of Simms Street, not where his body was found. An autopsy is scheduled at the GBI Crime Lab on Friday to determine the cause of death.
Evidence collected from the scene will be analyzed to assist investigators. Thus far, the investigation has revealed that Miller was a known resident in the area and frequented the vicinity of Bainbridge where he was discovered.
