GBI Investigates Double Murder in Pelham

PELHAM, Ga. – On Sunday, January 18, 2026, about 1:45 pm, the GBI was requested by Pelham Police to conduct an investigation regarding two males who had been shot and were found deceased. Agents and a crime scene specialist responded to assist Pelham Police.

The two victims identified as Desmond Daniels, DOB 8/2001, from Baconton, Ga. and Tobias McIntyre, DOB 11/1992, from Camilla, GA. were located in two locations but were in close proximity to one another. It is believed they were originally together in a vehicle when the incident took place. One of the males was found outside a vehicle recovered at the scene, the other was in it. The scenes included the vicinity of 290 Castleberry St. NW and 170 Cannon St. NW Pelham, Georgia.

Both males will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab where autopsies will be performed to further aid agents in their investigation.

Evidence recovered from the scene will be processed and sent to the GBI Crime Lab for further analysis. Agents continue to follow leads and interview witnesses.
