GBI arrests Pineview mayor on theft by taking charges
PINEVIEW, Ga. – In a startling development, 34-year-old Pineview mayor Brandon Holt of Wilcox county has been arrested and charged with 75 counts of theft by taking by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
This follows a request from Wilcox County Sheriff Steve Mauldin and District Attorney Brad Rigby to investigate allegations of misappropriation of City of Pineview funds by mayor Brandon Holt on October 20th of last year.
Holt was taken into custody on Tuesday, January 16th, and booked into the Wilcox County Jail. He was released on bond the same day.

The case file will be handed over to Cordele Judicial Circuit District Attorney Brad Rigby for prosecution.
