GBI, Albany Police investigating human skeletal remains found in wooded area near Crown Hill Cemetery on Sunday

ALBANY, Ga. – Albany law enforcement and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is looking into skeletal remains found over the weekend.

According to Dougherty County Coroner, Michael Fowler, the bones of an unidentified victim were found just before two o’clock Sunday afternoon in the wooded area around Crown Hill Cemetery.

We caught up with Fowler late Monday morning about the investigation.
