GA Veteran’s State Park Shooting Suspect Arrested

CORDELE, GA – On Saturday afternoon, law enforcement began to investigate a shooting at Georgia Veteran’s State Park, after a female victim arrived at Crisp Regional with a gunshot wound, classified as a domestic incident.

The suspect fled the scene.

Around 3:15 am Sunday morning, Skylar Woodham was apprehended and arrested in Worth county in connection with the shooting.

Charges against Woodham are pending and forthcoming.
