Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Arts Council to host first-ever “Plein Air Painting & Music Under the Stars”

FITZGERALD, Ga. – Art, music, and community will come together for a night of creativity and fun as the Fitzgerald–Ben Hill Arts Council hosts its first-ever “Plein Air Painting and Music Under the Stars” event. The celebration takes place Saturday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Carnegie Center’s Courtyard.

The evening will feature live plein air painting by artist Jennifer McCall, a style of painting done outdoors, on location, where artists capture the natural light, colors, and atmosphere of their surroundings in real time.

Guests can also enjoy open mic performances from local musicians, along with hands-on art activities like crochet and painting.

The event is free and open to the public, and organizers say it’s a wonderful way to celebrate creativity, local talent, and community connection under the night sky.
