Fatal accident on I-75 southbound in Crisp Co.
CORDELE, Ga. – First responders with the Cordele Police Department, Cordele Fire Department, and Crisp County EMS, and Crisp County Deputy Coroner Willie Williams and Coroner Richard Wright are on the scene of a fatal accident on the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in between exits 100 and 101.
Preliminary reports indicate that a truck driver was struck while working on a semi tractor trailer on the shoulder of the road.
This fatal accident has backed up traffic on the interstate for several miles. Drivers can expect traffic delays until the scene is cleared.
