EF-2 tornado confirmed in Early and Calhoun Co. from Tuesday’s severe weather
ARLINGTON, Ga. – The National Weather Service in Tallahassee, FL has confirmed an EF-2 tornado touched down during Tuesday’s severe weather after surveying damage in Early and Calhoun counties.
The EF-2 tornado which reached maximum winds of 120 mph first touched the ground at approximately 9:46 am Tuesday one mile west of Rowena in Early county before crossing over into Calhoun county.
The tornado was on the ground for 22.02 miles, 21 minutes, with a maximum path width of 800 yards. The tornado lifted at approximately 10:07 am near Oak Hill in Calhoun county.
