Early morning hit and run, pedestrian fatality in the 1200 block of South Mock Rd

ALBANY, Ga. – On November 13, 2023, officers responded to the 1200 block of S Mock Rd in reference to a pedestrian fatality, around 5:46 A.M.

A 60-year-old man was walking in the median of the 1200 block of S Mock Rd when he was struck by a silver 2007 Honda Accord that was heading northbound. After being struck by the Honda Accord, the pedestrian was struck a second time by an unknown dark-colored SUV heading southbound. The SUV fled the scene of the incident. The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries.
