Downtown Tifton’s Rock the Block 2024
TIFTON, Ga. – Well… if you’re looking for a fun way to unwind in Tift county this weekend, the Tifton-Tift County Tourism Association’s got you covered.
The group will be hosting their annual Rock the Block celebration this Saturday evening starting at 6 pm.
Rock the Block will feature musical performances, as well as vendors from local restaurants.
This year’s theme is a throwback to the 1990’s.
Project Manager, Rosalie Reeder spoke with us Friday morning about the city’s biggest party of the summer.
“I have friends and they have their outfits picked out. I will be wearing my N Sync t-shirt. We’re excited for people to dress up. But, for this being an annual event and being in downtown Tifton, we block off a whole street. So, we’re excited for a crowd to come in,” said Rosalie Reeder, Project Manager, Tifton-Tift County Tourism Association.
Rock the Block takes place in the 100 Block of First Street East in downtown Tifton and will run from 6 pm to 10 pm. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. No coolers are permitted.
