The Farmers Market will again be held in Tifton Gardens, along 1st Street Extension, next to the Train Depot.

“Through the Tifton Farmers Market, we will be able to purchase farm fresh produce, shake hands with the people that grow our food and support our local economy while creating healthy social connections,” Culpepper added.

During the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 seasons, the market saw a revenue of more than $150,000.00 and over 10,000 visitors.

The market, owned by Randi, John, and Tatum Hickman, will take place every Saturday during October and November. Each market will feature live music, children’s activities and story-time every Saturday at 10 a.m., farm fresh produce, grass/grain fed beef, homemade goodies, and hand-crafted items by local community members. There is no admission for the market.

“We invite everyone to explore our downtown community when they visit the market. Our locally-owned shops and restaurants will be open and ready to see you all as we support Downtown Tifton,” Culpepper said.
