Downtown Tifton Main Street Program’s Support Local Mob pays its first visit at Tifton Sweet Stop
TIFTON, Ga. – Yesterday, the Downtown Tifton Main Street Program launched its newest initiative – Support Local Mob!
The goal is to have local community members, business owners, and partners come together as they commit to spending a minimum of $10 each in a local downtown shop.
The fun part is, this is a COMPLETE SURPISE for the business as the mob members are the only ones who know the day and location they will be visiting.
We could not think of a sweeter business to ambush with support and love, for the first time, as the mob paid a visit to Tifton Sweet Stop.

Tifton Sweet Stop owners and family were thrilled and surprised by the visit.
We had over 25 mob members join in on the fun!
MOB MEMBERS SPENT $476.19 DURING THEIR VISIT WITH TIFTON SWEET STOP!
“This was a fun and creative way to give back to a locally owned business in our downtown community”, says Main Street Manager Hillery Culpepper. “Within 45 minutes, a local business generated over $475.00 – it is amazing to see the great things that can happen, within our community, when we work together. This is the purpose of the Downtown Tifton Main Street Program.”
The mob accomplished their goal during their visit, to love and support local. We think it is safe to say, that the Support Local Mob is here to stay.
