Downtown Moultrie’s Second Saturday holiday event offers sidewalk sales & festive family fun

MOULTRIE, Ga. – Downtown Moultrie is preparing for a festive Second Saturday celebration on December 13, offering a full day of shopping, food, and family-friendly holiday activities.

Most downtown shops will open at 10 a.m., many of them featuring special sidewalk sales throughout the day. Visitors can browse local boutiques and specialty stores while enjoying seasonal deals and holiday cheer.

Families will find plenty to do on the Square. A free bounce house, slide, and mini-golf will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Santa will also be on-site during those hours, giving families the chance to take holiday photos. Donations for Santa photos are encouraged and will support the Hero House.

Food lovers can explore a wide lineup of downtown restaurants including RT’s Sports Bar & Grill, Rocco’s Ristorante at the Theatre, Doughboys Downtown, The Barbeque Pit, West Coast Vegan Grill, and more. Several food trucks, including D&L’s BBQ, Tortilleria La Oaxaqueña, and Yodee’s Mobile Fresh, will also be set up around the Square.

The celebration continues into the evening with a Country Christmas Concert from 6 to 9 p.m., sponsored by the Moultrie Masonic Lodge No. 381 as the finale to the Toys and Thunder Motorcycle Run.
