Downtown Americus Main Street hosts First Friday Chili Crawl

AMERICUS, Ga. – Spice up your Friday night in Americus with the First Friday Chili Crawl on February 6th from 5 to 7 p.m. This free, family-friendly event invites the community to explore downtown while sampling the best chili local restaurants and merchants have to offer.

Attendees can make their way to participating locations, taste a variety of chili, and cast their votes for their favorites. Winners take home Downtown Dollars, with $200 for first place, $100 for second, $50 for third, and a People’s Choice Award with a commemorative trophy.

The Chili Crawl is part of Americus First Friday, a monthly celebration designed to bring the community together, support local businesses, and enjoy a lively evening in the heart of downtown.
