Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce’s Target Hardening Lunch & Learn focuses on crime prevention and safety

DOUGLAS, Ga. – Home and business security will take center stage at an upcoming Lunch & Learn hosted by the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce.

The Target Hardening Lunch & Learn is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Douglas Atrium Event Center, located at 114 Peterson Avenue North. The one-hour program will be led by the Douglas Police Department and will focus on practical crime-prevention strategies for homeowners, small businesses, and larger industries.

During the session, officers will share simple, effective steps participants can take to reduce the risk of becoming a target, along with safety tips that are often overlooked but can make a big difference.

Lunch will be provided courtesy of Taylor’s Outdoors and Apparel. The event is free for Chamber member businesses for up to two attendees. Additional attendees from the same member business may attend for $10 each. Non-members may attend for $15 per person.
