Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office releases vendor information for the 2025 “Building Unity in the Community” Bar-B-Que

ALBANY, Ga. – The Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office will host our Annual “Building Unity in the Community” Barbecue in celebration of newly elected Sheriff Terron Hayes Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Riverfront Park, 112 North Front Street, Albany, Georgia from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. This event affords us an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between citizens and law enforcement and provide resources/information to the public. We are expecting over 500 citizens this year.

Information concerning all vendors (please read):

  • Vendor registration is FREE
  • Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, etc.
  • Vendors are responsible for leaving the area in the same condition they found it.
  • Vendors can begin setting up at 9:00 am and breaking down at 2:00 pm.
  • The Sheriff’s Office reserves the right to censor any vendor information/resources.
