Deceased person identified in Albany

The deceased was NOT the "missing person" Fowler referenced on Tuesday.

ALBANY, Ga. – According to information provided by Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler, another deceased person was found in Albany.

Henry Lee Smith, black male, 65 years old was identified as the deceased.

The deceased was NOT the “missing person” Fowler referenced on Tuesday.

The autopsy showed no abnormalities. The identity was confirmed by fingerprint testing.

Homicide or foul play is ruled out.

A toxicology report will be conducted to find out exact cause of death as far as what was in Smith’s system.

This report usually takes 60-90 days to conduct.
