Decatur Co. Sheriff’s Office requests GBI on body found investigation

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. – The GBI was requested to respond and assist the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office earlier today on February 12th about 8:23 am at a location off of Pondtown Road in Decatur, County.  Agents and a Crime Scene Specialist responded to the scene.

A body believed to be that of a female, was located in the area.  The body will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab tomorrow where an autopsy will be performed.
